Meet the team

Alex first met Javier at Red Bull Racing, where he worked as a Mechanical Designer in the Powertrains department, contributing to the development of cutting-edge turbocharger technology for the 2026 Formula One Power Units. He later returned to university to complete a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and now works full-time managing Racetrack Dynamics. Known for his sharp analytical thinking and strong management skills, Alex plays a key role in the company. He is also highly regarded for mentoring students, providing valuable insights on CVs and early career development.

Javier is dedicated to imparting knowledge, having invested years in developing The Complete Guide to Vehicle Dynamics in F1. His tenure at Red Bull Racing was marked by his critical contributions to the engineering of two championship-winning cars driven by Max Verstappen. Currently serving as a Performance Engineer at Sauber, he collaborates closely with drivers Hülkenberg and Bortoleto. Expect an emphasis on precision and technical expertise in his approach.

Pedro has a Vehicle Dynamics, Suspension development and driving background in his Formula Student team, combined with a Masters in Aerodynamics, which gave him a good understanding of the interactions between different car systems. This proved really useful during his tenure working as Aerodynamics Engineer in Red Bull Racing between 2021 and 2023. Having participated in the development of the floor of the RB18, RB19 and RB20 he knows a thing or two about complex aerodynamic systems and its development. He can provide a broad overview of the different aspects needed to help produce a championship winning car, and of the major role Aerodynamics plays in it.
